Cancellations & No-Shows
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a cancellation fee of $25.
- No-shows or failure to appear for your appointment (without notice) will not be eligible for a refund.
Technical Issues (For RON Services)
- If your remote appointment cannot be completed due to technical issues:
- If the issue is on our end, we will reschedule or issue a full refund.
- If the issue is on your end (e.g., poor internet connection, invalid ID, or incomplete documents), we’ll offer one courtesy reschedule. Additional reschedules may incur a $15 fee or require a new booking.
Notary Ron Services, LLC
At Notary Ron Services, LLC, we are committed to providing professional, timely, and secure notary services, including in-person and Remote Online Notarization (RON). Because notarial services are official acts governed by law, our refund policy reflects the nature and legal finality of these services.
Completed Notarial Acts
Once a notarial act has been completed—whether in-person or online—it is non-refundable. This includes notarizations of documents, identity verifications, and all associated acts. Notaries are compensated for their time, expertise, and legally binding services, regardless of how the notarized document is used afterward.
Refusal to Notarize
- We reserve the right to refuse notarization if:
- The signer cannot be properly identified,
- The signer appears unwilling, unaware, or under duress,
- The document is incomplete or raises legal/ethical concerns
- In such cases, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion, minus a service fee of $25 to cover administrative costs and time.
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you’re eligible for a refund, please contact us at josenotaryronservices@gmail.com within 7 days of your scheduled appointment. Be sure to include your full name, appointment date/time, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 1–2 business days.
